Not much comes up in English when you search for Leica repair Hong Kong or any kind of film camera repair in Hong Kong so it’s a bit difficult finding someone to fix your Leica in Hong Kong. On a recent trip to Rome I was carrying around my Fuji X-Pro 2 and Leica MP and ended up dropping the Leica MP, lens first, on the concrete from a few feet. Worked fine for a few hours but then all of a sudden the rangefinder window alignment stopped working. Most of you will know this isn’t actually a big problem, especially if you zone or hyperfocal distance zone focus most of the time as I do. The only times I usually rely on the little alignment patch to align the images up is when I’m wide open and close to my subject.
