Maldives-for-Kids

Maldives with kids is just as much fun as Maldives without kids, if not more I say.  I went to the Maldives when I was about 3 and still had a great time.  Niyama Maldives had a kids club that I got to hang out at for a few hours one day while Mum and Dad went snorkelling. Walking around the island finding hermit crabs and fish was most excellent and I’d have to say that if you’re thinking Maldives with kids isn’t that appealing, then you’re dead wrong buster. Sure, Maldives with kids might not be everybody’s idea of a great time, but just because it’s in the middle of the Indian Ocean, it doesn’t make it any less suitable. I had a ball the whole time and when I wasn’t romping around the Island looking for sea creatures I just hung out in our private pool. The best thing about having your own private pool is you can go in the nuddy and let it all hang out.

Maldives With Kids

The bikes at Niyama Maldives don’t have kids seats but my Dad just stuck me on the bar between the seat and the handlebars and we pulled a few donuts and attempted some wheelies. We got a told off for doing it by one of the staff as it’s probably a no-no but as usual my Dad had a bit of a hissy fit at the staff and just kept riding. It’s not like we were ripping down steep slopes at 40km/hr, it’s just a casual, slow ride around the island, most of which is on sandy paths so even if we did crash, you can’t do much damage. Anyway, again, if you’re thinking there’s not a lot do in Maldives with kids, you’re partly right, but there’s enough to do to keep young ones busy as long as you can entertain them and get them excited about being there.

Maldives With Kids

The food in the Maldives with kids is fine, don’t expect New Zealand Cheese Rolls, Wine Gums, Pies, Bangers and Mash and the like, but there’s plenty for kids to eat and the food is pretty good.

Getting to Maldives with kids is not the easiest thing in the world, especially from Hong Kong, but what makes it all worthwhile, apart from the Maldives itself, is the wicked sea plane ride to the resort. You can see into the cockpit and watch the pilots fly the plane, in jandals! Awesome! The flight times aren’t great from Hong Kong to the Maldives with kids, but it’s manageable and not a total nightmare.

Sure, I’ve probably been influenced by my Dad who thinks the Maldives are better than Batman (which we both know is impossible), but actually I keep asking to go back and can’t wait for my next visit. Maldives with kids is way more fun than just having Mum and Dad by themselves so get your Mum and Dad to take you because it’s totally awesome.
