Ryze Hong Kong Trampoline Park

A good rainy day activity for kids of all ages to do in Hong Kong

Ryze Hong Kong is one of a couple of indoor trampoline parks in Hong Kong that most kids will enjoy regardless of age.  If it’s pissing down with rain, Ryze Hong Kong is usually first on our list of things to do.  It’s not in the greatest location, at least at first glance. When you mentioned Quarry Bay to most expats in Hong Kong they sigh and think what a drag is to get there, but in reality, if there’s no traffic, it’s a 5-10 minute drive or taxi ride from Central.  You can get the MTR to Quarry Bay, walk 5-10 few minutes and you’re there, but it’s easiest just to get a cab.  If you’re driving yourself, there’s parks right outside but they’ll ALWAYS full, so drive down 100meters to the Harbour Plaza North Point Hotel, and park at the Prosperity Millennia Plaza Car Park.  There’s more info in this post about car parks in the area.  That’s for Golf Hideaway, but Ryze Hong Kong is about 100 meters west on the road parallel and nearer to the sea from Golf Hideaway.

Ryze Hong Kong Indoor Trampoline

To the actual trampoline park experience.  Basically it’s exactly what you think, a big indoor trampoline park with loads of trampolines to jump on.  There’s a couple of foam pits you can run and jump into and they’re actually what Grobbler likes to do better.  The first couple of times we went to Ryze Hong Kong they were a bit anal about rules and not running and not doing this and not doing that so I didn’t think much of it.  The last couple of visits they seem to have relaxed a bit, still the same rules but they don’t seem to be so nasty about enforcing the rules. I guess it’s for good reason, I can see how accidents could happen when it’s full and you could easily give kids an accidental high flyer and send them into space!

They have different jumping sessions for different ages so check their website. You can also book online and you need to sign a waiver before you go in.  Bare feet only, if you jump with your kids you’ll get knackered pretty quickly and climbing out of the foam pit will make you quickly realise how old you have gotten!  It’s not something you’d go back to every week, but once every few months and your kids will keep wanting to go back. They also hire out the place for parties and overall it’s definitely worth a visit for an hour.
