One of the better hotels we’e stayed in, the Park Hyatt Saigon will put you a minute away from the action. We stayed in a 2 bedroom Suite which has a separate living room, balcony and direct access to the pool. It’s quiet and private and don’t feel at all like you’re in one of the busiest parts of the city, until you step outside and get amongst it all. The rooms are large (of course because we stayed in a suite), and the interiors are superb with French Colonial style but done right. Massive rain shower, comfy beds and pretty much everything you could ask for. Unfortunately we only stayed a few nights but I’d have been happy to have stayed much longer at the Park Hyatt Saigon.
The swimming pool is excellent and again, even though this hotel is pretty much in the center of the Ho Chi Minh, you don’t hear any noise and it’s like you’re in a quiet part of town when you kick back and relax on the lounge chairs by the pool. Not many people around and the ones that were were well behaved. Didn’t have to deal with the staff much but the few interactions I had were pleasant and positive. Sometimes, when you visit a city like Ho Chi Minh, it’s nice to come back to a bit of luxury and the Park Hyatt Saigon ticks all the boxes as far as that’s concerned.
Had a few snacks by the pool, but other than and the breakfast didn’t eat anything here but the breakfast was pretty good, so you should be right eating here. We choose to get some Pho for $1 down the road one night and that was pretty hard to beat so not much point ordering it at the Park Hyatt Saigon because it’ll cost you about 20 times as much.
If you’re looking for somewhere nice to stay in an excellent part of the city, the Park Hyatt Saigon is the place to stay. If you find something to complain about, there’s no hope for you!
