Don’t think I came back with a single photo from Nagoya that I thought was even half decent. I did however get loads of photos of dinosaurs so if there’s ever a time I need to come up with a photo of Stegosaurus or Velociraptor, I will be well prepared. When I’m going to places like this, that aren’t really anything great to photograph, I usually don’t mind, it’s a chance to take a very simple setup, which for these days would be just the Leica MP and 35mm Summicron V4 and some film. It’s nice to not have a choice sometimes. You don’t have to worry about what lenses to take or whether to shoot film or digital, or both and carry around 2 cameras like a dickhead. You just grab what you’ve got and shoot.
