I guess good photographers will always find something good to photograph in even the most boring of cities but you don’t go to Kobe to photograph anything in particular and what I really mean is, it’s going to be a real challenge to take a shot of Kobe and for people to say “I really want to go there to see/photograph that myself”, and that’s usually something I take into consideration when photographing a city or place.  More often than not I’ll fail because I’m so focused on getting a good shot of Grobbler, but I think that’s a good thing to have in mind when you photograph any city or place – how can I take a photo that will make people think “I want to go there and see/photograph that”.
